Rural Hospital Gold Partner

Microsoft is committed to strengthening rural health innovation, resiliency, and efficiency by helping rural hospitals with practical AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and training resources.
Through the Microsoft Rural Health Resiliency Program, rural hospitals can access resources designed to foster AI adoption, bolster cybersecurity protection, and provide affordable access to Microsoft solutions and technologies.
The program supports rural hospitals with:
- AI adoption and innovation: Access AI learning resources for rural and community health teams, deploy the Rural Health AI Innovation Lab’s Claims Denial Navigator, and take advantage of offers such as Dragon Copilot for eligible independent rural hospitals.
- Cybersecurity resiliency: Get a free cybersecurity assessment, curated cybersecurity awareness training for frontline staff, foundational cybersecurity learning for IT teams, and resources to protect patient care and sensitive data.
- Affordable solutions and modernization: Explore Microsoft nonprofit pricing where eligible, and a free Cloud & AI Readiness Assessment to help plan a secure, cost-effective modernization path.
Who qualifies:
All hospitals considered “rural” by CMS qualify (see dataset here), as well as independent Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Emergency Hospitals, and Rural Community Hospitals. Other healthcare organizations may be eligible for Microsoft nonprofit pricing outside this program.
